Account Coordinator, Cannabis Division (Los Angeles)

Chapter 2,  a leading communications firm with teams in NY and LA, is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our agency, working across our Cannabis Division. The Cannabis Division Account Coordinator will report directly to our Cannabis Division Senior Account Manager and Jr. Account Executive. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, a self-starter, reliable, and proactive. Additionally, the candidate must possess foundational knowledge in cannabis, strong written and organization skills, perform well under pressure, come with strong creative thinking skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously.

This candidate will provide support to our Cannabis Division Senior Account Manager and Jr. Account Executive will have day-to-day and strategic long-term responsibilities regarding list maintenance, reporting, pitches, and media research, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist account Senior Account Manager and Jr. Account Executive with pitch development and creation of client PR assets

  • Act as a company liaison to maintain and build relationships with key cannabis influencers and editors

  • Assist Senior Account Manager and Jr. Account Executive in coordinating VIP gifting and product seeding

  • Manage sample trafficking of incoming and outgoing shipments and gifting

  • Manage day to day media monitoring for client press coverage

  • Continual research and updating on current event calendars, media lists and media contacts

  • Work with team to develop materials, briefings, on-site support and assist with events

  • Compile weekly and monthly PR Reports for clients

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years full-time experience working with an agency in a Public Relations capacity

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time management skills, ability to multitask, intelligent – this role requires managing many different areas of PR simultaneously, does not get stressed under pressure

  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of the Cannabis industries

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work remotely 

  • Ability to actively engage both colleagues and clients in open communication

  • Desire to learn and further develop an appreciation for the Cannabis industries

  • Team player with great communication skills; able to work with others as well as independently

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; attention to detail and strong organization skills

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively

ACCOUNT MANAGER, NFT / WEB 3.0 DIVISION (Remote Role)

Chapter 2, a leading global communications firm, is seeking a PR Account Manager for the company’s new NFT / Web 3.0 division, handling multiple accounts in the exciting new world of NFT, digital fashion, virtual worlds, and the creator community. This role interacts closely with our CEO and will work directly on an already impressive roster of leading artists, creators, platforms, marketplaces, companies, and foundations in the digital space. 

The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience in a public relations or marketing capacity, handling multiple clients and talent with intimate knowledge of art, fashion, technology, and creative culture. Experience with managing communication across fashion, art/design, technology, creative representation, collaborations/partnerships, and a demonstrable network, research and knowledge of Web 3.0 community will be prioritized for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work with CEO and CH2 team to manage accounts in the world of NFTs, digital fashion, virtual worlds, and blockchain

  • Support with active brainstorming across company and client strategy and determining objectives and long-term goals; develop public relations/communications strategies to meet clients' goals and objectives, speaking authentically to their vision, product(s), and community; help structure and finalize initiatives and digital asset/worlds release calendars 

  • Support, develop, and execute our Web 3.0 Division’s client and artist announcements, as well as the creation and organization of client PR assets and press materials including bios, manifestos, EPKs, imagery libraries, and more 

  • Support account team and company founders with strategic partnerships and collaborations for our Web 3.0 Division artists and clients 

  • Stay up-to-date with news and events, and emerging trends as they relate to the metaverse, NFT, the PR industry, our clients, their business objectives and communities; thorough research and fact checking assistance for client and press needs 

  • Continual research and updating on current calendars, media lists, and industry contacts 

  • Assist account and VIP team in coordinating VIP gifting

  • Work with team to research and develop materials, briefings, on-site support, and assist with events 

  • Assist with general company-wide and office administrative responsibilities shared with colleagues 

  • Manage day to day media monitoring for client press coverage, compile weekly and monthly PR Reports for clients; proactively analyze PR outcomes, interpret data, and optimize results

PR / VIP Senior Account Executive, Fashion Division (New York City)

Chapter 2, a leading global communications firm, is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our agency to work on premiere accounts in our Fashion Division. The full-time role of PR & VIP Account Executive, Fashion Division will focus on the agency’s fashion accounts and report to the agency’s Account Managers, Directors, and senior leadership, including the CEO and President. 

 

This role is expected to already have developed strong writing skills and is proficient in pitching, release writing, generating client reports and assets, and presentations, as well as strong organizational skills. This role should come in with strong relationships with top-tier media and VIP contacts, and be able to nurture productive, trusting, and meaningful relationships with our clients and team. Our ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in a fashion public relations or marketing capacity, with deep knowledge and interest in streetwear, sneakers/footwear, luxury, and global, iconic brands. 

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Work with the account team and senior management on PR and VIP strategies

  • Playing an integral role in the onboarding process for new clients by leading asset organization and account setup

  • Maintain day-to-day communication with clients and nurture relationships with clients/designers; manage up and work together to address major client issues thoughtfully and effectively with the guidance and assistance from senior management

  • Coordinate the day-to-day account management of Fashion Division clients with Account Lead; collaborate with team and clients on their messaging, visual assets, deliverables, and internal timelines; oversee the production, edit, and publishing of press/marketing materials including client pitches, releases, media alerts, and bios making them dynamic and press-worthy

  • Support in the proactive communication and outreach to target editors and stylists to secure top-level media coverage and increase brand visibility

  • Coordinate interviews, seeding initiatives, activations, etc with greater team and divisions

  • Ensure efficient and proper management of samples and seeding inventory with the showroom teams and through strong relationships with editors/stylists/management

  • Work closely with client’s external (and potential) brand partners to lead creative and innovative, results-driven programs with their various business enterprises, partnerships, launches, collaborations, and activations

  • Work with team to manage client events across all company divisions including budget management, vendor relations, sponsor relations, etc. with account team and event vendors/production team

  • Monitor press and VIP coverage and report directly to the client; manage the internal assembly and accuracy of bi-weekly, monthly, and annual client PR reporting before reports are finalized by the PR Director and approved by senior management to ensure timely delivery to clients


 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of principles in PR, marketing, and digital media, as well as the current (and changing!) global media landscape 

  • Excellent relationships with media contacts and celebrity stylists in fashion, culture, and lifestyle press in both the print and online/digital space

  • 3+ years experience in a public relations capacity either in-house with a top brand or at a leading agency

  • Experience successfully working on large-scale fashion PR campaigns from strategy development through execution with a track record of proven results; experience developing goals for team and clients, and monitoring and reporting on progress to teams

  • Strategic thinker who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team and implement strategies to bring these ideas to life  

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; attention to detail and strong organization skills

  • Highly adept at multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively

  • Highly proficient with tools including Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics or Mayvien, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dropbox, Google programs, Cision, Muck Rack, and social media platforms

  • Availability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
